Michael specialises in non-fiction work, comfortable with both long-form feature and multi-episode work. With a History degree and an MA in Film Production from Bristol University, he continued his training at iconic Post-house Cinecontact before going freelance.

Michael’s strength lies in imbuing powerful and complex storytelling with clarity, nuance and audio/visual flair. He is an excellent communicator, remaining calm and focused under pressure.

Michael is also known for his eye for detail and an innovative approach to the use of sound.
